Kizingoni House is a magnificent home built in the Arab Swahili style – elegant, traditional and very comfortable. The House is ideal for a special gatherings of family or friends or as a small conference site. It has also been a romantic destination for a wedding, honeymoon and anniversary celebration.
Lounging near the pool or in any one of the six “baraza” areas is hard to resist for socializing, reading, playing games, or just enjoying a relaxing nap. Take a refreshing dip in the pool without leaving the House.
The House has four en suite bedrooms that accommodate eight adults. The stunning master bedroom has an extra-large double bed and overlooks the interior freshwater pool and the beach. Two of the other bedrooms are furnished with double beds and one with twin beds. In addition, two swing beds adjacent to the master bedroom offer a special treat for sleeping under the stars. The House is “child friendly” with a crib, bassinet, high chair, pool gates and stair railings.
Dining areas include the large formal table on the ground floor, the more intimate tree-lined terrace near the pool, dinners on the beach, or the upper terrace with its 270 view degree of the sand dunes, surf, beach and sky.
The beautifully landscaped garden features indigenous trees and flowering shrubs. Bird life abounds near the House and on the beach.
The House is ecologically friendly with an array of solar panels for electricity and hot water. Fresh clean water comes from our own well.
