The luxury beachfront home has four ensuite bedrooms with balconies and accomodates eight adults; there are also cots for children. This home has a swimming pool, beachfrint swing beds, kayaks and a motor boat for the exclusive use of our guests.
Note that we have just added free 3G Internet service sufficient for email and limited web searches and streaming (3GB + WhatsApp) for the duration of your stay.
STANDARD SEASON FULL BOARD (through December 20, 2019)
2-4 adults – $195/per person/night
5 or more adults – $175/person/night
Children 5-12 – 50% the adult rate.
Children under 5 – free
The Standard Season Full Board rate requires a minimum of two adults for two nights.
CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR SEASON FULL BOARD (21 December 2019 through 4 January 2020)
The rates are double the standard rates listed above.
The Holiday Season requires a minimum charge for four adults for four nights.
All rates include a return trip from the Lamu-Manda airport. The boat has a capacity of eight persons.
Full board includes a set menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. We have an excellent chef who specializes in seafood. We can try to meet any dietary restrictions. Any special orders will be charged at cost, if available.
Water and fresh lime juice are provided, but sodas and beer are charged at cost. Guests are encouraged to being their own alcoholic drinks or visit the bar nearby.
The rates include full use of the house, grounds, and swingbeds on the beach, as well as the two kayaks.
Our boat and captain are available for a charge of $3.00 per liter of fuel used for trips to Lamu, Shella, or historic sites.
We can also arrange for an evening dhow cruise
If a second boat trip to/from the airport is needed to pick up guests or extra baggage, the cost is $75.
Sports including water skiing, wake boarding, snorkeling, swimming with dolphins (seasonal), as well as kitesurfing are available with instruction at the nearby sports center. The center also offers massage and yoga. All payments are made directly to the sports center.
Reservations, Confirmations & Cancellations
Please email your desired dates and number of persons including adults and children to susan_tilson@yahoo.com. Once we confirm availability, we will send an invoice and, upon receipt of deposit, confirm your booking.
For bookings in the Standard Season, a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance due 30 days before arrival. If cancellation is made more than 30 days before arrival, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. The deposit is non-refundable within 30 days.
For bookings during the Holiday Season, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due 30 days before arrival. Monies paid are non-refundable.
